Rev. Stephen Alleyne

Assistant Pastor

Rev. Stephen Alleyne

Rev. Stephen Alleyne has been a member of the People’s Cathedral for the past thirty (30) years. He is married to Sister Nicole Alleyne, and together they have two daughters Dominique and Danielle Alleyne. He is a graduate of the West Indies School of Theology Barbados campus, and after graduating from the WIST in 2004, he was installed as the Associate Youth Pastor of The People’s Cathedral, and functioned in that capacity until after his ordination in January 2012.   Rev. Stephen Alleyne is not a full time minister at the People’s Cathedral, as he is a member of the public service of Barbados. However, that does not hinder him from being involved in ministry, as he has been used of God for several years.

Rev. Stephen Alleyne has been teaching the Youth Alive Sunday School Class, where he teaches young people ages 19 – 26 since the year 2000 until present. He is assisted by his wife Nicole and Mrs. Lisa Cummins. Rev. Alleyne has also been involved in the technical ministry, which is charged with the setting up and running of open-air crusades, all things sound, lighting and recording of services and setting up P.A. systems as requested by other ministries within the People’s Cathedral. He was involved in this ministry from 1998 until 2004. Rev. Alleyne has also been one of the teachers of the converts class from 2005 until present.

He is a dedicated team member of the pastoral staff of The People’s Cathedral, headed by senior pastor Rev. Jewell Callender, as the entire leadership and members of the church seek to Go Beyond Membership and Foster Community. For the past fifteen (15) years on the pastoral team, Rev. Alleyne has been involved in pulpit ministry, communion services and baptismal services as well as the Friday night prayer services that have had a tremendous impact as it relates to spiritual warfare in the heavenly. Rev. Alleyne heads the Marriage Ministry of the People’s Cathedral from 2018 until the present, and together with a strong group of team members, they seek to build bridges to connect the family, each member to another.
